Making the unpleasantries
of life pleasant.
My home-based legal practice focuses exclusively on wills and incapacity planning.
In law school I wanted to be a courtroom lawyer. Twenty years later, I take pride in being a living room lawyer - someone with whom you are comfortable discussing family information, over a cup of coffee in your own home. Most of us will never have occasion to see the inside of a courtroom - but everyone needs to plan for the event of their death.
I am passionate about meaningful conversations, and find great reward in seeing the peace of mind my clients have after setting their affairs in order.
In 2015 I graduated with my Masters of Health Law with a particular interest in all matters related to end of life. In 2023 I completed the Osgoode Hall Intensive Program in Wills and Estates, and in 2024 I acquired my e-State Planner certification. The law does not stop changing and evolving, and so I continue to advance my learning to better serve my clients.

Wills
Your will is the legal document that speaks for you when you are no longer here to speak for yourself. Making a will ensures your intentions are clear, and saves time, money and stress at a time that is already emotionally difficult, stressful and very expensive. It can also be an instrument for providing your last testament, a statement of beliefs or values, or a reminder of all you loved and valued.
Basic wills start at $500 for an individual
and $750 for a couple.
Powers of Attorney
These legal documents speak for you when you are still alive but unable to speak for yourself due to an incapacity that may be either temporary or permanent. There are two types of Powers of Attorney: one for personal care and one for property. Your powers of attorney allow you to choose different individuals to manage your affairs in the event you cannot do it yourself.
Add powers of attorney to any will package
for an additional $250.
